Our mission includes offering temporary refuge, ensuring well-being, and empowering individuals facing adversity. In our safe and inclusive environment, we provide shelter, sustenance, and comprehensive settlement services. With a commitment to community and understanding, we equip refugees for successful integration.
Our History
Welcome to Dorcas House, where compassion meets empowerment, ensuring every journey is met with dignity and respect.
Founded in January 2024, Dorcas House launched it’s first transitional home in Ottawa East, and the shelter has been dedicated to providing compassionate support during the crucial phase of rebuilding lives. Offering more than just shelter, it prioritizes the well-being and empowerment of individuals facing adversity.
